When referring to LEED prerequisites and credits this blog uses abbreviations for convenience.
For example: SSp1 Minimize Site Disturbance (NC/CS):
- SS = the credit category, in this case Sustainable Sites
- p1 = prerequisite number 1; “c” stands for credit as in SSc1
- Minimize Site Disturbance = the credit/prerequisite name
- (NC/CS) = the adaptions the credit/prerequisite is relevant to, in this case NC = New Construction and CS = Core and Shell
The LEED v5 credit categories are:
- Integrative Process, Planning and Assessments (IP)
- Location and Transportation (LT)
- Sustainable Sites (SS)
- Water Efficiency (WE)
- Energy and Atmosphere (EA)
- Materials and Resources (MR)
- Indoor Environmental Quality (EQ)
- Project Priorities and Innovation (PI).
The LEED v4 credit categories are:
